Sweet irony that Cruz is using the IRS as a political weapon. Perhaps he thinks it will make a good case study when he abolishes the IRS.
I really do wish that Ted Cruz had chosen the executive path to building his conservative credentials. Legislators have little to hang their hats on in terms of accomplishments.
And they have to make too many dirty little deals in legislatures that can be brought up when campaigning. Meaning having to go along with somebody elses crap in order to get their vote on what you want.
