We were watching a 48 Hours Show on CBS last night.

Some guy was convicted of First Degree Murder in WA State and received the Maximum Penalty, 29 Years.

If there are any FReepers left up there, is that the Maximum? Is there no Death Penalty or Life without Parole there?

Washington does have the death penalty, but leftist Democrat Jay Inslee announced two years ago that no executions would happen during his governorship.
