At least the mob has a strict code of honor (unlike the scumbags in the US Congress).

well put!

“Well Obama had ties to Tony Rezco and Rod Blagojevich and he still got to be president

Sounds like you don’t have any higher expectation from Rump. Apparently, he is a progressive himself.

Cant wait to see how the media treats trump... And he thought Megyn Kelly was tough.

“At least the mob is honest & have a code of honor (unlike US congree)”

Murderers, thieves, liars ... (yes, I’m talking about ... the Mafia. :-))

Omerta/Code of silence? These `Godfathers’ sang like stool pigeons once Rudi Giuliani got hold of them with RICO. The Colombo family may have self-destructed, but Rudy got the other four. He was as relentless as a Cruz voter.
I’ve always felt bad about the short shrift that he got way back when, here and elsewhere. Sure, he had some alien `Rockefeller Republican’ notions of conservatism. And he dressed up sometimes like a woman. But he was a real legal stud. Fearless.
New Yorkers ... hmmm. Yeah, they think spending the night outside the big Apple is “camping”, they could teach classes in `Obnoxious’. Sometimes they brighten the room by leaving.
OK.

But sometimes you have to roll the dice. Maybe not way back then, but now is not the time for the fainthearted. It’s de-horning & nut-cutting time in the south.
Cowboy up. Go Trump

Considering you couldn’t even take the step to google makes you lazier than my not bothering to do html. And the fact that you’ve been here since 1997 and supporting a guy whose anti-thetical to many things this site has been against since ‘97 is much more pathetic.

Likewise for me, I will stay home if trump is the nominee.

Yes we should always elect the person has the least information on the subject and has no training whatsoever in the concepts of democracy within a republican form of government we should always elect people who made their money making deals with various foreign powers potentates and other such individuals I understand clearly the the scales have been lifted from my eyes thank you so much...

“Ted Cruz speculated on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Donald Trump may be hesitant to release his tax returns because of “Donald’s business dealings with the mob, with the mafia.” “

The guy DOES CONSTRUCTION IN NEW YORK CITY...who was he supposed to get to do the work, Mother Teresa?

That would be awesome Trump skipping and having his own debate on another news network.

You do realize that if Trump is willing to deal with the Mob, he's willing to deal with anyone.

Also, you can't lump Cruz in with the GOPe without recognizing that he HAS been fighting them since elected to the Senate.

That's why they support Rubio.

Look, trumps incessant attacks on Cruz have worked. Cruz fought, old school style, by focusing on policy, values, and experience. Though his qualifications are the best he's getting beaten by innuendo and bombast. He has precisely two days left to take as many votes as possible away from Rubio and Trump. Those who are on the fence and those who think trump is inevitable so try to ride the bandwagon.

You follow trump because he's a fighter. Ted is fighting back and decided to take the gloves off. You want someone who won't hold back against Hillary, someone who will do anything to beat her. Cruz is showing you that he will do so.

The responses on this thread show that it is highly effective. Will it help on Tuesday? I have no idea. If it doesn't then Cruz is done. If it does you'll know he's ready to beat Clinton at her own game.

In a way, that's what primaries are for. Can this guy win, will he do what we want him to do.

If this hurts trump among his supporters it will hurt him far worse against his enemies.

While bought and paid for career politician Ted Cruz flaps his gums in beltway theater performances and gets nothing done. Trump is a builder. Cruzbio are self interested talkers.

Best response!
But had he purchased earlier he would be in a good position to sell short on Tuesday morning.

Thing is, Ted isn't for sale. If he was, the gang of eight bill passes.

Cruz has finally sunk to Harry Reid’s level.

It was a strategically timed question that trump answered in the past and framed in precisely the same way that some here call “slimy”. The purpose was to bring votes to trump and it was effective.

Questions about Trump's ties to the mob are equally valid. I've been baffled by the fact it hasn't happened yet. Same with Christy. You don't do business or government in New York or New Jersey without the mob's approval.

Do we want a president who relies on mob approval?

Don’t want even to watch the Chris Wallace interview. It’s just Cruz imploding

He wanted it too bad. He could have stayed classy. Now he’s grabbing.

He was totally gone at “show us your tax return”. A guy who was running on abolishing the irs. Forget it

Yes, it is our duty to uphold the law. Turning a blind eye to crime enables it and makes us accessories.
Your willingness to accept crime as a price of doing business is what has enabled congress to act like they do.

Trump probably does have mob connections (he contributes to Democrat campaigns) but he sure wouldn’t associate it with tax returns.

If we get Hillary, all of those things are fairy tales. Cruz stands for all of those and is on record as standing for them prior to trumps candidacy.

Where in the world do you get that I’m a Trump supporter? Just because I comment on the hate spewed by some here and the repubE. I was/is for Cruz but he has done much to change that. All the candidates have messed up this campaign, all the in fighting while Hillary and the Dems runs wild.
You reverted to childish name calling “bumbling blow hard” and you as a Cruz supporter expect to be treated like an adult? No way.
