I heard the comment and you are exactly right. Trump offered Christie the use of his plane as a gift. That was obvious in his tone of voice. The parenthetical addition to the title is an intentional lie.
Daily Mail is scum for twisting this. Trump had a private plane ready for Christie and wanted him to get back to his family and his job.
