Yes, until someone with a BRAIN who can articulate fundamental truths in a way people can understand them. Once truth is understood and embraced, emotion attaches to it — reasoned and calm emotion that does not sway in the wind. It is the only hope for a constitutional republic. If we let emotion drive us, we’re doomed.
As Reagan used to say, America is one generation away from losing its foundation. All it takes is for the current generation to fail at passing on those truths.
