Ted Cruz (R-TX) stated of fellow candidate Donald Trump “If someone is actually pro-life today, would you perhaps ask God for forgiveness for spending 60 years advocating for partial-birth abortion?” And that Trump “is telling us, he is going to go back on what he’s saying” during an interview broadcast on Friday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

What they forget is a part— like many aphorisms: it’s the love of money, it’s *absolute* power, which *tends* to corrupt.
Like preacher Cruz here, they forget the final “Go and sin no more.” admonition.

I have not given up on him yet, but I wish he’d lay off that nonsense and try to fix his credibility before it’s too late. Rubio? Ship him back to Cuba.
Cruz is pointing out a logical inconsistency based on public statements Trump has made. That’s fair game, and it does lead reasonable people to wonder how reliable his public statements are. If a person believes they have been advocating a wrong position, the murder of the unborn, and now they realized they were wrong, why would that not be something for which to seek forgiveness? It’s really not the fault of Cruz when Trump says things that don’t make sense.

We can only fantasize about another man’s heart. Only God knows for sure. Let God deal with the real and not make up fairy tails. Jesus says so in the Bible.
cruz reported what CNN reported. And would it really make a difference in the outcome? Carson lost by like 30 thousand votes.
I hear he didn’t disclose to TEXAS when he ran for the Senate that he was a Canadian citizen at the time. .

Trump made it part of the public record, not needing forgiveness, and changing positions on abortion, two positions that cannot be reconciled. If it’s in the public record, it’s fair game.

Cruz has a Messiah complex, he is mentally ill.
Religion isn’t a AA meeting. There’s no requirement to go on Oprah or O’Reilly and publically ‘cleanse one’s soul.’ I’m not sure what Cruz’s religion of Dominionism teaches, but my religion teaches that using religion as a club is a sin under the haughty clause.
Maybe he did, how would Teddy know? He may be the face of God but he ain’t Him.
