Trump hasn’t stood up to anything. He figured out what conservatives want to hear and will keep serving it up in an over the top fashion in order to clinch the nomination, and then he will immediately stab conservatives in the back if he makes it (God forbid) to the general. That has always been his m.o., and I guarantee you the leopard has not changed his spots in the slightest.
