I like it. It means the companies will not realize a profit by relocating like Carrier. If Carrier thought they were going to pay a tariff on Mexican built air conditioners, and not getting to write off the expenses of relocating as a business expense, and count it as an export, maybe they would stay here.
and yet we still pay more.
