Except that I believe that Trump will screw conservatives and this country MAJORLY. So, if Trump wins the nomination, I see two choices:
1. Vote Trump.
A. Hillary wins. Same outcome as Romney and McCain. I was forced to hold my nose and the other team won anyway. Not only did the candidate I voted for lose, but I feel dirty about my vote.
B. Trump wins. Trump screws conservatives and the country. Republicans take the blame, thereby screwing the conservative movement for decades. I carry the guilt of having participated in that fiasco.
2. Write in someone else
A. Hillary wins. I voted my conscience. Hillary screws the country. Democrats take the blame, thereby screwing the liberal movement for decades. I personally know that if Trump won it would have been the other way around, so I can still feel good about my vote.
B. Trump wins. I voted my conscience. Trump screws the country. I and many others like me can claim we didn’t take part in the debacle. True conservatives coalesce into a third party that rise from the ashes of the mess Trump created. The GOP, and it’s pathetic primary system, die off.
That’s the way I see it because it starts with my firm assumption that Trump we’ll screw us. Since I have plenty of evidence to back that up based on his past, I can’t be convinced otherwise. So, I clearly have one option: vote my conscience.
Thats the way I see it because it starts with my firm assumption that Trump well screw us. Since I have plenty of evidence to back that up based on his past, I cant be convinced otherwise. So, I clearly have one option: vote my conscience.
Screw us? You mean like TPA Ted screwing us by enabling Obamatrade? That kind of screw?
Face it. All you’ve got left with Trump is: “He won’t do it”. Fact is he’s staked his Presidency on building the wall. If he doesn’t do it he will be a one term POTUS.
C: Trump wins, get the economy back on track, the border gets secured and the illegals start heading out. The people of the country realize we've been heading in the wrong direction for too long and it's time to take the conservative approach because it is been proved to be the right one. Conservatism rules for.....
You can't say for 100% certainty that is not how this might turn out. I think we all have some doubts but I'm willing to take that vs certain destruction with Rubio as it looks like Cruz is not going to be an option at this point.
