As an old former Navy Swabbie, our Marines are great.
I was considered to be a sailor good with weapons.
Whenever, any Navy Officer or CPO asked me what weapons I would like to have to protect my station?
My response was 3 Marine Lance Corporals and one Marine Sarge.
Most of the time I got good chuckles. My last reserve CO didn’t speak to me for a month.
