From what I’ve seen, a lot of Trump supporters looked into Cruz or even supported him for a while. And then saw the real Cruz history and patterns. And also Trump supporters almost all, that I’ve seen, looked very carefully into Trump’s positions, listened to many rallies and interviews, and read at least one or more of his books. The site “On the Issues” has quotes and sources for all the candidates (and other politicians) on many issues over time, and that is good resource.
Cruz supporters, otoh, are like a rabid fanboi/fangrrrl club and seem to know absolutely nothing about the real Trump, and like to believe only hit pieces and GOPe/Dem/MSM propaganda. They’re sort of like cult followers.
It’s really clear.
PS - Cruz supporters refuse to see the slightest flaws in him, although there are many egregious flaws up to the level of huge red flashing DANGERS AHEAD! signs.
I must agree about the ones who post on most of the threads, although there are Cruz supporters who restrain themselves from the constant negativity. The other shocker to me is -- I thought it was only liberals who project all the time, but the projection of some of these folks is just appalling.
