Not so pure nonsense. Sanity would be to see things continue without an upheaval... Trump supporters believe he will shake things up, i tend to think there is someone who would do that better, but believe that changing the status quo is a crazy but necessary thing to do. I am pulling for cruz, but will back trump, but do not have confidence in trump doing what needs to be done.
You do not count on his ideological purity, you are count on his ego.
Trump loves the USA. He wants to make the USA great again. So does the Right. The Left hates the USA and thinks it needs to be fundamentally changed to “make it fair” We hare a commonality of interests with Trump where we share nothing with the Democrat views
Trump ego is all wrapped up on his perception of “Winning”. His behavior shows he is a bare knuckle brawler in getting what he wants. So you bet on Trumps Ego that he wants to win in the fight to make the USA great.
