Rubio would get less turnout than Romney
I agree. I didn’t say he could beat Hillary. I said his chances would likely be better than all the other candidates (except Trump).
I do not know if Trump could beat Hillary either but I do know it will not be the conventional political race she’s familiar with.
Last night Ted Cruz had the chance to talk about big ideas and constitutional principles last night but he did not.
The front runner is lacking in the one area Cruz excels...policy.
Cruz had an opportunity to rise above the fray but instead he climbed into the mud pit and started slinging.
Unfortunately, this will be what gives us either Donald Trump or Marco Rubio).
Today Ted Cruz says: Marco Rubio and I would both be a much better president than Donald Trump.
Now THAT takes the cake! That’s not the Ted Cruz I have been standing behind.
He had the golden opportunity last night to push his flat tax when he was going after Trump for his returns.
For someone who is a debate champion, he let his emotions run his mouth.
Very disappointing.
I think Ted tried to stay on message but had to try and defend himself against Trump. I don't have a problem with that.
Rubio was the real attack do and while he may have had good points, his antics were a joke.
Rubio was like a Chihauha on speed.
I'd prefer to see Cruz knock out Rubio but the #'s and the 3rd place finishes are puzzling.
Cruz has the right message but he fails to connect and he's likely tainted just by being a Senator.
His flips on immigration and TPP and H1-B visas haven't helped him out either. Really a shame.
