Chris Christie Endorses Donald Trump

Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey endorsed Donald J. Trump on Friday, a major turn in a wild race and one that gives the New York businessman a major boost as he heads into the pivotal Super Tuesday contests.

Mr. Christie was a candidate himself until he came in sixth place in New Hampshire’s primary. But his backing of Mr. Trump comes after weeks of him saying that it was time for the “entertainment” portion of the race to end, and as he had said that the type of executive leadership that a governor has is important.

He may go after Cruz and Rubio as well...I am getting sick of Cruz & Rubio and their special press conferences trying to take Trump out.

I don’t care how well he succeeded in building his corporate empire.

I want to hear specifics and substance about how he intends to do what he says he is going to do, outside of sloganeering, repetition of the problem, and do so within the bounds of Constitutional law and not as dictator.

What I have heard from him does not give me a lot of confidence that he will.

I am telling you what I hear people saying about him. And I cannot tell them, based on what I have heard myself, that their impression was wrong. That’s what it sounded like to me also. In his quest to gain the votes of so-called evangelicals (which clearly was part of his strategy in Iowa), he went about it as a preacher would. Go back and listen to him. Granted, he is the son of a preacher. But so is my son, but he knows not to speak that way in the pursuance of his work.

Here in south Mississippi, most of the people I work with and most of my extended family are Trump supporters. Delivery drivers and salesmen who come by are pro Trump. Even the union guys I know are for Trump. GO TRUMP!!!
