In an interview Thursday with Jorge Ramos on Fusion, former Mexican president Vicente Fox responds to Donald Trump's plan to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border.

"I’m not going to pay for that fucking wall! He should pay for it. He’s got the money," Fox said.

"Are you afraid that he’s going to be the next President of the United States?" Ramos asked. "What would that mean for Mexico?”

"No no no, democracy can not take that, crazy people that don't know what is going on in the world today. This worries me, the last caucus in Nevada... he won 44 percent of Hispanics."

Then the people of Mexico will pay via reduced remittances.

Trump has yet to provide an explanation how Mexico will be forced to pay for the wall. Probably because he doesn't know himself.

Trump has outlined 5 ways Mexico could be forced to pay for The Wall.

You guys have got to keep up, it's a fast moving political season this time.

Top 20? So there's hope that if I work hard enough I could be as big a douche as you?

I know what he’s said. And each method would require the Senate to pass the appropriate law, and I don’t see that happening.

Silly boy, look at all he’s already accomplished, even Mexico isn’t disputing that the Wall will be built.

After endless flailing of the arms, it took the ex-President of Mexico to move some Freepers to accept that the Wall will be built. Even you finally have had to accept that. I don’t doubt it’s been painful.

It would seem even the anti*Trumpers would be a lot smarter than they are letting on and realize that the next step is going to happen too.

Typical response, completely ducking the point that was raised.

Trump hasn't accomplished anything yet, and Mexico knows there is nothing they can so to stop a wall from being built. So of course "even Mexico" acknowledges a wall may get built. But nobody disputed that, so I'm not sure why you thought it worthy of mention.

But the idea that Mexico will pay for it is simply a braggadocious joke. Anyone who actually believes that is just revealing their own ignorance about the politics of the Senate.

I could have been more clear, Trump will get Congress on board as needed. The circumstantial proof is that Mexico isn’t arguing against The Wall anymore, they’ve accepted that if Trump is President it will be built.

I know you don’t believe that, and I’m OK with your disbelief.

++++

When the argument moves on to EPA vs. the American people and The Wall, in about a year, which side will you take?

Oh, that’s right, you don’t have the courage to say “EPA” so you’ll just say it won’t come to that.

Bwahahahaha

You guys are so transparent and predictable.

Mexico is not going to be ASKED if they want to pay for it or not.

Perhaps you'd care to enlighten us on just How we force another country to build something?

Certainly, your circus ring-leader isn't giving out any 'how's" on ANYthing he's going to do - except everything will be the BIGGEST and BEST and MOST and "Bring in the Clowns"

In terms of the politics involved, I see a massive difference between 1) a wall being built (though not 40 fit high) on our own soil, paid for by U.S. taxpayers, and 2) forcing Mexico to pay for it. Intercepting earned wage remittences from foreign nationals to put pressure on a that foreign government would be a huge issue internationally. That's the kind of stuff we do when Iran took our embassy, not simply to help budget for something. There are an awful lot of Americans who work overseas and send money home, and there's big-time potential for retaliation by other nations.

In any case, I'd be willing to wager a substantial sum in FR donations that Mexico will not pay for that wall.

And your EPA support?

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. What is "my" EPA support?

Look....I don't believe in the doctrine of legislative delegation in the first place. I don't believe Administrative Agencies should have the power to "flesh out" laws period. I think any such regulations that are passed by any administrative agency should have to be approved by Congress before having the force of law. And the EPA is probably the worst agency in the entire government not only when it comes to drafting regulations, but to their scattershot, inconsistent, politically-motivated interpretation/enforcement of those regulations

So when you talk about my "EPA support", you are barking up the wrong tree.

The solution to almost ALL of life’s problems is usually very simple, it’s about having the stones to implement those solutions......
Yes, we could deport them to the point they begin a mass exodus, yes we could build a wall and keep out all future invaders, yes we could ban all adherents of a certain military parading as religion from entering the country......so far only one candidate has had the stones to weather the cry of “racist” to possibly implement the “cruel” solutions civilization desperately needs to survive.
