I dont think its animosity against Cruz here but a reaction against many of his followers who have been so insufferable in this forum. Yapping about ground game and how Trump will get his comeuppance. Well the much ballyhooed ground game never materialized and Trump is crushing Cruz even among conservatives and the evangelicals.
It does get old.

Very old. Especially After Cruz enabled Obama’s secret trade agenda and all the other questionable moves he has made.
I wouldn’t have a problem voting for Cruz in the general over Hillary. Just don’t berate me that he’s the “consistent conservative” when he is without a shadow of a doubt not.
