Correct. It’s just one of the many frauds in which this supposed “successful businessman” has been involved.
I can’t think of a single one of Turnip’s schemes that has resulted in his making money for any of his investors.
I know of four where they have lost everything, or close to it.
He just SEEMS truthful. That’s the art of a really good con man, which is what Turnip is.
His supporters will be in for a big fall when they fall off the Turnip Truck.

I hope the money goes to the Veterans groups that will use it the most effectively. 19 of 22 of them could very well be a little on the shady side. If $5 got to a “group” that was a scam then we would be hearing about that 24 / 7 over the next several news cycles.

When Trump is elected President, I predict lots of the ‘right’ people will be getting shot, bombed and blown up, starting with ISIS and hopefully ending with every terrorist-supporting Islamic nation in addition to Kim Jong Fat Boy in North Korea.
Actually, it is very hard for a public figure to win a libel suit. And since the suit is a fact and the allegations are a part of the suit, there is no way Trump could sue for libel because someone repeats the allegations.
[But none of this would prevent oppo researchers from putting together weeping plaintiffs describing how they ran up credit card debt on the promise they would become welahty, cutting into videos of Trump’s promotion of the university, which, they would note, is not really a university and does not award degrees.]
Would make a great campaign ad for Cruz. Why isn’t it running already? Oh yeah, Trump and Rubio, with the help of the liberal media and GOPe, have convinced a large segment of uninformed voters that Cruz is a liar, so they would just disregard the ad anyway.
This story has been around for months and months. Trump supporters simply don’t care if he is a huckster.
