I remember that so called 2012 Autopsy. It reeked of Inside the Beltway thinking. Trump has adopted the George Constanza approach, do the exact opposite of the report, and he has won primaries in the NE, SE and West.

The report also tsk-tsk’d over the perception that some Republican voters have issues with people of color.

“We need to campaign among Hispanic, black, Asian, and gay Americans and demonstrate we care about them, too,” the report continued.

Who knew gay was a color? I must have had a different set of colored crayons in my Crayola box growing up.

-Obama had just throttled Mitt Romney-

Romney took his foot off the gas in the last 2 debates after throttling Obama in the 1st one. Why he did that is the question.

Rush went over this. What it shows is that the majority of Americans reject homosexual marriage, open borders, Muslim immigrants.

From an article in The Weekly Standard.

Donald Trump has yet to win an outright majority in a primary or caucus - though he’s getting closer, pulling in 46 percent of the vote in Nevada. But he’s winning massive numbers of votes.

Mitt Romney won Nevada’s caucus in 2012 with about 50 percent of the vote. He did so by pulling in roughly 16,000 total votes - roughly the same number that second-place finisher Marco Rubio pulled in this year. Donald Trump, by contrast, more than doubled Romney’s total, garnering 34,500 votes.

That pattern has played out across all of the early states, which are seeing huge Trump-inspired (and, at some level, anti-Trump-inspired) turnout.

All told, Trump has now won approximately 420,000 votes. After the first four states had voted in 2012, Mitt Romney had won about 311,000 votes. Back in 2008, meanwhile, eventual nominee John McCain had won a little more than 250,000 votes after Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada had voted.

“We need to campaign among Hispanic, black, Asian, and gay Americans and demonstrate we care about them, too,”

If I were Hispanic, black or Asian, I would be grossly offended at being grouped in with perverts.

Once upon a time, the RNC brought together a brain trust of party elders to figure out what had gone wrong. Obama had just throttled Romney, the party lost ground in the Senate, and voters just weren/t into the Old Christian White Man demographic. So the Big Tent was resurrected.....and conservatives were placed on an ice floe in the Arctic Ocean.

HOLY HEDGE FUND! Jeb-You/re-Next spent over $125 million on his failed campaign? The GOPe must be choking on the chilled Cristal, Oestra caviar, and stuffed lobster in the country club Grill Room.

==========================================

IMHO, the ignominious collapse of Jeb-You/re-Next drove a huge stake into the heart of the establishment GOPe. Forget erectile dysfunction. The fallout of being politically castrated is devastating to a powermonger.

The GOPe/s de-b***ing began when candidate Jeb said he didn't need the Republican base .... and proceeded to carry on, business as usual, as his numbers sunk into oblivion.

Jeb telling a key bloc of Republican voters to take a hike is the consequence of the country club GOPe demeaning and dismissing conservatives as not being worthy of their elite party.

The entitled Jeb-You/re-Next took it as Gospel when he heard the Bush elders condescending attitude towards conservatives....people to whom the aristocratic Bush/s feel socially superior.

But the GOPe should know this: they will get no pity from conservatives for their woes......
and we aim to stick their noses in the mess they made every frickin' chance we get.
