It is really the US fault. It is our stupid trade policies we determine the rules. Trump understands that. As a business man he does what is necessary within the rules to make as profit. As president he will change the rules to be in America’s interests.
It's easy if you're looking for casual clothing or don't mind wearing graphic art on your sweatshirt.
The last time I went clothes shopping I looked for âMade in the USAâ labels. No luck.
The unions effectively killed off the small truck division Of International harvester....just adding on to your post...I drive a 1971 International 1210...EVERYTHING on it is American made...except my new fuel pump and fuel filter...could not find one made in the U.S. ...the pump anyway
Glenn Beck was pushing jeans made in the USA for 119.00 on sale....I ordered none and bought some carharts at a yard sale for 5 dollars a piece
But there are some. Why isn't Trump picking them out and working with them? If Bernie Sanders can get his campaign ballcaps made in the U.S. then Trump could have as well.
If he won't then why should anyone else do it?
It's probably a result of China taking advantage of the fact that manufacturing was being run off by taxes and regulations. And it's had a significant negative impact on our economic stability. Trump talks about going after China, which is ok. But somebody is going to have to deal with the manufacturing environment here as well.

None of Cruz’s products were ever made in China because he never created a product in his life, or run a company or created a job unlike Trump.
Cruz is good at producing words. That is all.
How much stuff is actually made in the USA today? That’s the more salient question.
Since 90% of US manufacturing is done by non union workers you'd be 90% wrong.
When we get tariffs up it will all come back.
Carrier CEO was asked to name specifically the taxes and regulations that were “forcing” them to open a factory in Mexico and HE COULDN’T NAME ONE.
NC used to be a wonderful textile producer but no more. If no American factories have stayed in the US you are going to blame Trump or any consumer for having to go out of US to get products? NC is not even a high salaried union state and factories shut down and moved.
Bring the companies and jobs back and see where Trump and other Americans buy their products. Can’t buy American until we make American again.
Of course it will.
That was true in 1975?
