Fear, uncertainty and doubt (often shortened to FUD) is a disinformation strategy used in sales, marketing, public relations, politics and propaganda. FUD is generally a strategy to influence perception by disseminating negative and dubious or false information and a manifestation of the appeal to fear.

Going to? He already has with his personal assaults from Fiorina’s face, to John McCain’ POW status, to saying Cruz is sick, mocking a handicapped person, threatening to punch people, calling GWB a liar, suggesting Carson wasn’t a great surgeon, merciless attacks on JBush.....the list is too long. Really, this is the answer to eight years of Barack Obama?

How dare anyone even remotely suggest Trump is “reaganesque”. When I hear that I want to puke.

This country is becoming a joke, and a sick one at that.

You blame Trump because the Nevada does not know how to run a caucus?

If it is as bad as you say it is, Nevada should go back to primary voting
instead of a caucus,

Trump or any other candidate do not set rules.

It is a caucus. People come together and speak for their guy then people vote. The caucus in this state allows T shirts etc.

Please don’t get your facts in the way of their hissy fit. They’re very upset that Cruz is going to lose a state that no one ever expected him to win, so they’re going with their usual tactic of “making stuff up”.

Exactly. Trump isn’t worthy of shining Reagan’s shoes. There’s absolutely nothing reaganesque about Donald Trump.

Not my caucus, it was pleasant and businesslike. There were long lines and it was cold, but we all talked in line as we waited, some people campaigned for their preferred candidates which is allowed, and in the end we all agreed whoever won would be far better than the democrat. I don’t know if my caucus ran out of ballots or not, but every one was checked in with photo id, signed for a ballot, voted and turned it in to their precinct. Everything was accounted for and above board, with care taken to protect the secrecy of the ballot. I can’t imagine it was all that different anywhere else. Republicans do not act like democrats. It was an orderly well-mannered process, everyone knew they were in the presence of like-minded people whose commonalities were far greater than their differences.

Remember this. The Democrat caucus in Nevada only had about 10,000 voters on Saturday...STATEWIDE.

In Clark County alone tonight, some 13,000 Republicans were queued up at one polling place.

It’s usually a humiliated loser who creates chaos and false accusations of voter fraud.

Who do we know who has a record of dirty tricks at caucuses?

I’ll bet it wasn’t the Carson supporters.

I got the last ballot at the room designated for my district. I think one of the poll workers was going to see if there were any extras in some of the other rooms.

“poll workers wearing Trump gear”

There are no “poll workers’ at caucuses. These are informal events where you and your neighbors get together and try to convince each other whom you and they should vote for. voting is then conducted on little paper slips passed around the tables and then collected and counted.

The guy in the pic isn’t collecting votes; he’s registering people who want to attend the caucus. Everyone involved are volunteers and wearing candidate gear is expected because the purpose of these meetings is to promote your candidate.

It works exactly like this in Colorado.

All of these claims of impropriety are complete BS FUD being spread by those expecting to lose in an attempt to prey on peoples ignorance as to what a caucus is and how they function.

I remember GOP officials delaying a caucus in Carson City because they got overrun by Paulistinians, who were punctual.

Caucasus are different. From what I’ve been told by people who live in states that have them. It’s more informal. Campaigning with the voters is allowed.

This is being discussed on another thread.

Try and keep up.

The only reported difficulties are a shortage of ballots due to the exceedingly high turnout:
