No, they can’t be removed from office except by voters who rubberstamp familiar names. They can be expelled with a 2/3 vote of the body.
well, they COULD still be constitutionally impeached .... but the chances of that are so slim... .
(I can’t recall it actually going through since back in 1799, ha!... Can anyone recall anyone more recent? my short-term memory is beginning to lapse a bit, alas!)
I was hoping for a simpler, easier (perhaps medically-oriented, rather than outright impeachment which usually presupposes some serious wrong-doing)
