Most church people are hypocrites anyway????""""....

At least they know where they belong. We are all sinners and no Christian disputes that fact, but we are forgiven sinners who ask for FORGIVENESS every day.

But then seems some professed Christians don't need forgiveness....seems like

Someone said that to my mother once. She was a lifelong Baptist.

The person told her that church people are hypocrites.

She just smiled and said, “I like to be with people who pretend to believe what I pretend to believe.”

Do you catalogue all your sins over the course of the day and ask forgiveness for each one? What if you miss one? How many can you miss and still be ok with God?

If you just ask for blanket forgiveness for all your sins in a particular day and God forgives them all, then why does a God who lives outside of time care about each earth day as a marker for how far he can forgive?

If we know we’re sinners and will sin, and God knows that we’re sinners and will sin and he exists outside of time, then why would he want a request for forgiveness each day when he knows that you will need one tomorrow too? Since he always grants the request, then what was the purpose for asking?

Most people who are so upset about Trump and the words “ask for forgiveness” have not thought it through at all.
