Donald Trump on Tuesday called his GOP presidential rival Ted Cruz âa babyâ as he dug in on his attacks against the Texas senator, one day after calling Cruz âsick.â
âIâve met much tougher people than Ted Cruz. He is like a baby compared to some of the people I have to deal with. He is like a little baby: soft, weak, little baby by comparison,â Trump said at a campaign rally in Sparks, Nevada, after slamming Cruz yet again as âthe single biggest liar I have ever dealt with.â
Trump later added, âIâd like to really win in Texas. Wouldnât that be great? I love Texas. I love Texas. And I think now that (Cruz) has exposed himself as a nasty person who lies a lot, I think heâs going to go way, way down in Texas. So I think we have a shot in Texas.â
A message left with the Cruz campaign seeking comment was not immediately returned.
Trump has leveled an unrelenting barrage of personal attacks against Cruz, calling him everything from âunstableâ to a âbasket caseâ and accusing him of lying while also touting the Bible.
The attacks come as Cruz and his allies have laid into Trumpâs stances on a number of issues important to conservatives, from Trumpâs use of eminent domain laws for personal gain to the New York billionaireâs past support of abortion rights and additional gun control measures.
Trump has since changed his positions on abortion and gun rights.
And while Cruzâs ads use Trumpâs own words against him, Trump has accused him of playing dirty.
The latest attack is reminiscent of Trumpâs line of attack against former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, whom Trump branded as âlow energyâ over months of campaigning.
But with Bush now out of the race, Trump is looking for space to fill in his stump speech, which previously included multiple references to Bushâs âweakâ nature â an effective foil for Trumpâs brashness on the campaign trail.
He hinted at a potential target on Tuesday when he said âMarco Rubio is a nice young man.â
âHe hasnât hit me. No, no, no, he has not hit me. When he hits me, ugh, is he going to be hit. Actually, I canât wait,â Trump said. âI hope he does (get nasty) because itâs more fun.â
Yeah, Cruz is the biggest liar “the Donald” has ever seen. Oh, wait, except for maybe that fella staring back at him from the mirror!
After reading Trump’s disgusting rants, I think I understand why Beck said he’d vote for Sanders.
Trump is a whole white Obama equating to 100% narcissist
And Trump supporters are just retread Obama supporters equating to 100% morons
I agree. He’s also poking jabs at Ted’s integrity, which really is a big turn off. It’s going to make it hard to vote for him if he gets the nomination.
Depends on what is is.
Call Trump. Ask him where is his stupid lawsuit.
Try your best to think it through.
BRING IT!
That's exactly what I thought.
News Flash! His heart is black.
Yours is black. Check your tag line as you certainly don’t live by it! Consider Haters got to Hate for your new one!
What I said stands.
Tag line stands.
Evil is evil.
Calling evil “good” doesn’t make it so.
Good tree ->. Good fruit
Bad tree -> bad fruit.
Examine the record. Trump is a self-centered, narcissist.
You’re free to go whatever way you deem best.
Bye.
You lose. Cruz is on fire. Someone needs to wrap him in a rug!
Trump has a lot to walk-back, if he wants Cruz as VP.
Cruz was never really what he professed to be.
....how so, what value has he not been true to? What promise has he not kept? Please elaborate.
ymmv
Cruz is a Sadducee, full of self promotion and does not walk a Biblical walk. I have posted chapter and verse already and don’t care to constantly repeat myself just because someone such as you hasn’t yet had an awakening over Cruz. Read the Bible for yourself. His campaign has exposed his corrupt soul for those who have eyes to see. What is happening to his candidacy is as though God has said, “Not in my name.”
Yeah, but in case you haven't noticed, it's working.
It's called tagging. That's what threw "low energy" Jeb off his game (if he ever had one).
>>We are all sinners and no Christian disputes that fact, but we are forgiven sinners who ask for FORGIVENESS every day.
Do you catalogue all your sins over the course of the day and ask forgiveness for each one? What if you miss one? How many can you miss and still be ok with God?
If you just ask for blanket forgiveness for all your sins in a particular day and God forgives them all, then why does a God who lives outside of time care about each earth day as a marker for how far he can forgive?
If we know we’re sinners and will sin, and God knows that we’re sinners and will sin and he exists outside of time, then why would he want a request for forgiveness each day when he knows that you will need one tomorrow too? Since he always grants the request, then what was the purpose for asking?
Most people who are so upset about Trump and the words “ask for forgiveness” have not thought it through at all.
Most of the responses I see from Trumpeteers seem to emulate those of their Leader. I won't go so far as to call Mr. Trump "despicable", but I don't care to see a different bully in the White House for the next four years. The way things are going, it's "pick your poison", and Hillary's is far more fatal for this country.
I offer a humble suggestion for Trump supporters. Victory with out grace or class is Pyrrhic to the victor. As a Cruz supporter, I see Super Tuesday as Ted's last stand.
Gotta say it-—What a smarmy punk Donald Trump is.
