Trump took "Born Again Christians" (72% of the voters) at +6.

A lot of Democrats identify as "born again Christians."

2% of the respondents claimed to be democrats and their poll numbers were negligible. 22% claimed to be Independents which Trump took over Rubio at 33% to 19%.

If this is a poll, I'm not sure it's very helpful. What I mentioned earlier are the actual voter records. They can be tabulated so there is no guess about how many Democrats and Independents voted.

At least that's how it's done in my state. I've gotten the voting records of who voted in elections many times. You don't have to guess or "Poll" people to get the straight scoop.

I find the number 2% Democrat to be completely bogus. I do not believe that only 2% of the voters were Democrat. The number must have been much higher judging by everything i'm reading about Trump's appeal to various Democrat demographics.

I can go along with you on that. But even if you concluded that all 22% of the independents were democrats (which would be an extremely high estimate), and Trump took 33% of them, then it would have accounted for a 7.2% bump for Trump, a 3.7% bump for Cruz (who got 17%), and a 4.1% bump for Rubio (who got 19%).

So, using my quick and terrible math, if every single independent was actually a cloak-and-dagger democrat, we're looking at maybe a 4% difference and Trump takes the state by +6 with everybody left over.
