Sous vide tastes great but there WILL be plastics in your food. Both my parents have Alzheimer’s and I wouldn’t ever knowingly eat food boiled in plastic. I fear that too much plastic in us hurts us. I don’t know this for a fact but it can’t be good, sorry to be a total Debbie Downer. I’ve heard how perfectly sous vide cooks steaks. There are some silicone bags but they don’t have a perfect seal yet.

They say that Pot is good for Alzheimers. My dad had it for about 10 years before passing at 92. I smoked my share in my yute, so maybe it will protect me. Nowadays, it is Pot (roast)!
