Donald Trump is walking away with one more delegate in New Hampshire than media estimates predicted, at the expense of Marco Rubio.
The New Hampshire secretary of State's office released the certified GOP delegate count Monday, showing Trump with 11 delegates to the national convention. Ohio Gov. John Kasich, the second-place winner, received four delegates. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Sen. Ted Cruz won three, while Rubio, a Florida senator, won two.
That's a slight difference from The Associated Press' estimation from primary night, which had 10 delegates for Trump and three for Rubio.
Rubio finished with 10.6 percent, just behind Bush's 11 percent. But while the AP believed the near tie would lead to a tie in the delegates, the new count confirms that is not the case.
That new total leaves Trump with 68 delegates so far toward the national convention, far ahead of a second-place Cruz with 11. Rubio sits in third with 9 delegates.
Jeb Bush's three delegates from New Hampshire are free to back a new candidate of their choice, according to state law.
That count will grow even wider after tomorrow’s NV Caucus and next week on ST.
Better him than the Cuban Chippendale.
Nice!
Poolboy 12.
Thanks, I just updated the delegate count in my tagline. Looking forward to adding more tomorrow night for Trump
What a blow! Trump knocks down Rubio even further and didn’t have to do anything.
If they don’t steal it from him.
winning. If you’re Donald Trump, it’s what you do.
Looks like it’s 68 now!
Preibous had a cabana boy,
The Dirty little nipper.
He stuffed his *** with broken glass
And circumcised the skipper. aye yi yi
“Looks like itâs 68 now!”
Sounds great until you consider that there are 2,470 total Republican delegates.
That means 2,402 Republican delegates oppose Trump. To put it another way, Trump is not even getting the support of 3% of the Republican delegates, when he’ll need just over 50% to win the nomination. He’s finished.
(LOL...just illustrating the fallacy in the “Trump Ceiling” logic when it comes to polling)
NO!
You sound like a Cruzer.
Opps, sorry, just joking you.
LOL, it does sound like Cruz. I could see him saying something like: “Trump, and you know what Trump says. He says he has 68 delegates now and he’s sweeping the field. What an IDIOT - he never tells you that he needs ANOTHER 1,168 delegates to actually win. He never says how he’s going to those people to support him. Does he?”
How any conservative can support Donald Trump, perhaps the most vile, narcissistic, ignorant and low class liberal masquerading as a conservative is beyond me.
Trump will lose to Hillary, but even in the unlikely event he should win, he is going to infuriate the very people who today genuflect for him.
The clintons and the Msm are laughing at your gullibility.
“He never says how he’s going to those people to support him. Does he?”
I imagine he’s going to do that the same way he’s gotten the ones he has now. Namely by stomping the crap out of the GOPe Quislings. After Super Tuesday the Republican race will pretty much be over.
Then Trump can turn his fire on Hillary. And he’s going to destroy her.
L
Ted Cruz is still my number 2 choice but Donald Trump is the conservative that we need for 2016. Cruz is only 44 years old - he’ll have chances later.
Trump 68
Cruz 11
Rubio 9
Kasich 5
Bush 4
Carson 3
Im already tired of winning!
So what happens to Bushes 4?
Does Bush get to assign them?
