The combination of Clinton Motor Voter which requires clerks to offer voter registration, and Obama's executive order prohibiting clerks from asking about citizenship has led many clerks across the country to believe that non citizens can legally register to vote.
Obama is, for the sake of these illegal votes, throwing these non citizens under the proverbial bus since registering to vote or voting in a federal election can lead to rejection of citizenship applications, deportation or up to a year in the federal pen.
NM finally has a new designation for “undocumented residents”. Not sure what it entails.
Knowing the state legislature the right to vote will be there. Not sure.
