There goes the GOP establishment argument Trump is going to bring a Goldwater-style disaster on the GOP.
Hillary is many things but she ain’t LBJ.

I think he beats Hillary with 35 states.
Bernie has a lot of enthusiastic youth support like Obama did, could be closer.

The other 14% who don’t believe Trump can win must be the Cruzbots
here.

After JFK’s assassination, no Dem would have lost in 1964.
Pray that Obama stay healthy for the rest of the year.

As much as I like Cruz, I’ve never seen where he can get the EV’s.
Trump just may put some states back in play that the Dems take for granted.

I think one thing Trump has done, that I have not seen anyone comment on, is inoculate himself against claims of boorishness. Yes, he’s said a ton of crazy things, but because of a peculiar feature of our electorate, if you do something crazy long enough, no one cares anymore (”that’s just Biden being Biden..”). This will give him full license to attack Hillary on areas where she is vulnerable - a liar, a rape enabler, a crook, etc. - areas where other candidates would have to tread carefully.

Exactly, Trump expands the map. Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, even NY come into play.

Not THIS "Cruzbot". I have said from the beginning that pretty much ANYone in the field except John Ellis Bush could win, and win convincingly, in different ways.
Trump brings several big northeastern states in to play, and he can potentially draw Hillary Clinton into saying the wrong thing. If he can pull 25% of the African American vote he could win very big electorally.
That said, I believe that Cruz or Rubio can also win, and by more than George W. Bush.

His shy wife spoke last night! She did remind me of Ava Gabor in Green Acres but that was ok - I loved Ava.
