6) Ted Cruz will truly say anything at all to get elected and ran the nastiest campaign South Carolina has ever seen: In South Carolina, Senator Cruz continued his campaign of lies, falsehoods, and under-handed tactics that first began in Iowa with false rumors about Ben Carson. Just in the past week, we saw the Cruz campaign and their allies unleash a wave of lies about Marcoâs record, false rumors that Marco was dropping out, anonymous push polls, outrageous robocalls in both English and Spanish, fake Facebook posts, personal insults directed at popular South Carolina leaders, and ads that had to actually be taken down.
7) Ted Cruz's dishonest tactics have left him with permanent damage: According to exit polls, 32 percent of voters thought that Senator Cruz ran the most unfair campaign. What Senator Cruz did in Iowa to Ben Carson and tried to do to Marco Rubio in South Carolina will continue to echo through this race. National Review's Alexis Levinson captured this when she wrote today:
But one of the more problematic upshots of the past ten days for Cruz could be that it has crystallized a new line of attack that will continue to dog him as he moves on: the perception that he is a "liar" campaigning on a dishonest premise.
As we saw in South Carolina, Senator Cruz's willingness to say or do anything in order to win an election does not wear well on voters.

Seems the Rubio camp will be gunning for Cruz going forward. Y'all been warned.
About Rubio: He is the Bushes little “mini-me”.
To know more about Rubio, learn more about Bush:

My jaw just dropped after listening to this little 28m gem:
https://www.lewrockwell.com/podcast/worse-mafia/
Rubio is joining trump as making it real hard to earn Cruz voters assuming this becomes a Trump/Rubio race. Those disgusted with Trump’s idiotic attacks are going to be equally disgruntled with Rubio’s unnecessary attacks now. Probably will benefit Trump, who originally was the logical #2 choice for Cruz supporters.
“Seems the Rubio camp will be gunning for Cruz going forward. Y’all been warned. “
If true, it’s a mistake on Rubio’s part as he’s doing Trump a big favor going after Cruz. If/when the race narrows down to Trump and Rubio, Trump will win. As long as Cruz is in the race, the anti-establishment vote is split between Trump and Cruz and the GOPe/RINO vote can and will consolidate around Rubio, which has a good change of being larger than either Trump or Cruz.
It’s obvious that Roboto is a fine representative of the establishment elites running the GOP branch of the Uniparty.
I’m sure they are all very proud to have him carry the banner.
Why Cruz was attacking Trump instead of Rubio in SC
is a mystery.
While Cruz was attacking Trump, Rubio slipped into 2nd
in SC.
Bay of Pigs, redux. ‘Cept this time the Yankee wins, unfortunately.
Sorry folks I forgot point 5...
5) South Carolina was made for Ted Cruz and he fell short: If Ted Cruz can do no better than third place in a state like South Carolina where 73 percent of the electorate described themselves as “born-again or evangelical Christian,” where else can he win? As Fox News described it, the “big distress signal for the Cruz campaign” was the split of the evangelical vote with Donald Trump. Marco himself took a significant part of the vote. As Erick Erickson noted, “with that ground game and that evangelical turn out, why is Cruz at that level?” The Cruz campaign ultimately touted making 50,000 calls per day and knocking on 7,000 doors per day. And yet, as Fox News’ Carl Cameron noted, Cruz’s “ground game doesn’t appear to have materialized” in South Carolina.
Chris Wallace today was asking about Rubio’s possible choice of running mate, and what he thought of Governor Haley. Absolutely pathetic. If the GOPe thinks Rubio is the one, the base is going to stay home and Hillary will win.
From the memo:
8) Donald Trump has a ceiling:
CNN Jake Tapper: “It’s called the Oval Office” - In Response to David Axelrod’s Ceiling comment in regards to Donald Trump’s SC Primary Win Feb. 20, 2016
Tapper keeps it up the brass may kick him on his arse. He is suppose to be carrying the bucket for the establishment candidate.
Note to Trump supporters.
Rubio will defeat Trump once it’s down to Rubio and Trump. The GopE will even give it Rubio if no one get’s enough delegates.
Your only hope is to CRUSH RUBIO now before it’s too late.
I agree he should have focused on Rubio. Seems somebody is giving Cruz very bad advice.
So Rubio and Trump supporters should just let Cruz slide with his lies and dirty campaign tactics? The same way the country should dismiss Hillary’so unscrupulous actions??
Wake up dummy. As much as you might like it, we’re not sitting on our hands taking this lightly, ando if we did Cruz would still lose, if not the nomination then certainly the general.
He was supposed to ignore Trump’s attack about his eligibility when Trump saw poll numbers change in Cruz’s favor?
YEP!
Also Terry Sullivan saying this is the dirtiest race in SC history is a laugh... This from the guy who helped start the McCain Black love child rumor, and the one about Haley having an affair with a blogger... Give me a break Terry.
I watched it live. I almost died laughing. Wish I could find a video of it.
Cruz knows he's done if he doesn't win Texas decisively. He figured Rubio was a bigger threat to him due to the Hispanic vote. As it stands, I think he made a huge blunder. He will now have to spend tremendous resources in his home state just to win it, leaving the other SEC primaries for Trump to further his lead.
Just my take.
