Yes, indeed. A rambling, non-sensical “I wish” type post. Repeating over and over different little memes and “claims” that have nothing to do with the demographic facts.
Rubio won the largest urban centers in SC. There is that.
The rest of the field took the rest of the counties in the same order. This primary was actually a farce.
The evangelicals were not enough to overcome the rural poor and the “gibsmedats” and their “downline” in the pyramid scheme, in a state that is largely fedgov dependency, either in military bases or in social welfare. The coastal wealthy types could vote for trump, but it would not make up the difference.
A race without Bush and Kasich, and quite possibly Cruz would have come in second— focusing mostly in the rural counties.
TV wins in the “stupid” vote.
JSM, were you referring to the linked article, or my post?
Your post #39 to shivafan-— which I took your statement “this is bizarre” meaning shivafan’s incredibly rambling long posting ostensibly pro-trump but mostly a harangue that left off the obvious demographics— urban vs. rural percentages, with the reality being there were enough counties for Cruz to come in 3rd, and the bulk of Rubio’s numbers were from two municipalities- Charleston and Columbia.
The code pink thing is a distraction and the whole thing is bizarre- agreeing with you, with an emphasis that the
television general populace can be sold anything “the stupid” vote.
Glenn’s been getting confusing messages from Kolob lately, it appears......
Ah. I see. Thanks for the explanation. I wasn’t quite sure...
IHMO....Ted Cruz is finished, politically!!! Sad......because he could have been a great man and outstanding servant to his great country....but he chose to mix in with the low life and lunatic fringe (Glenn Beck). Had he played his cards right....he most likely would have been Trump’s choice for VP. Sadly but, correctly....Ted Cruz chose to hang himself politcally, and I must admit, he did an outstanding job of it!!!
It’s a big country- and it doesn’t reside in TV land— not in the areas of true political power.
Like— how many dumba@@ repub elite thought Romney should be the man— and didn’t realize that noone wanted a nice clean cut cult religion Bain consulting rich guy far removed from the regular people in the world (and the union conservatives), who promoted obamacare cause he designed it vs. the second term of the “gibsmedat” marxist mulatto. But ran a freaking mormon in the SOUTH... the one place that would determine the outcome-— and the evangelicals did not turn out, as well as a whole lot more.
Obamacare is STILL on the table. It and the mandate are the one thing which may drive the country apart. Perfect timing for a demagogue to “fool them” again with rhetoric to the desperate. Hard questions ahead.
I notice the Ted Cruz fans have hidden under a rock or something, today.....they are not mouthing off as usual!! Glenn Beck, the disgusting nutcase....Cruz is cut from exactly the same cloth as Beck is!!! Both are wastes of humanity, and should be banned to the obscurity cesspools they birthed from!!! End of story!!!
The problem with Cruz is he did flip flop on some things but is hammering Trump for changing positions. The problem is that Cruz bashes Trump for things he said in the past but he waffles when confronted about things he said before. The situation is that he backfired on strategy. He threw all the mojo he had out the window when Glenn Beck and others got involved. Cruz became one of those posters who supported Cruz that kept bitching about Trump since June 15, 2016. He no longer seemed interesting or exciting. Just wanting to attack Trump.
I meant June 16, 2015 when Trump announced he was running.
I don't see any "brown shirts", just red, white and blue.
