If I am not mistaken, the actuarial tables were changed in anticipation of boomers that take care of themselves living longer possibly to 100. I haven't purchased a policy recently, but I hear rates are lower. We see with the recent string of Rock Stars possibly going before their time as perhaps an indicator that living the rock and roll ( and Bubba Clinton ) life style might catch up with you.
