I think Cruz is perfect for SCOTUS - you’d never have to worry about a decision with him. I doubt Cruz wants to become a shut-in at 44 years old though. SCOTUS is made for him - it’s not a leadership position and it puts his best talents to work.
Ted Cruz has torn up the Constitution and is in gross violation of his oath to protect and defend the Constitution. After his current contemptuous disregard for the natural born citizen clause of the Constitution, he is not fit to serve any official capacity anywhere. He is just another unindicted felon. Still, let’s assume for the sake of this discussion we can omit his violations of Constitutional eligibility. You still have Ted Cruz either violating election laws with impunity or at least acting highly unethically while trying to skirt overt violations of the election laws. You also have a U.S. Senator Ted Cruz who is not fulfilling his oath when he has aided and abetted legislation that fails to defend the United States and its citizens against illegal immigration and illegal immigrant felonies. The issue of illegal immigration, sanctuary cities,, and many other unrelated legislative issues and issues before Ted Cruz as a government attorney disqualify him as any form of conservative justice whatsoever. Instead, Ted Cruz has demonstrated himself to be just another ambitious person playing naïve would be conservatives for suckers as he pretends to be serving the conservative cause as a stepping stone to positions of the greatest power and independence from further obligations to conservatives.
How many senators would vote for or against Cruz?
He stands a better chance of running a 2 minute mile than getting approved by the Senators he has angered.
