This says it all!!! I was dead right on target....A vote cast for Ted Cruz is a wasted vote!!! If Cruz was ever nominated...he will not be, any Democrat will slaughter him politicaly in the general electio!!! Here are the hard facts:

- Donald John Trump - 339,851 votes

- Marco Rubio - 165,881 votes

- Ted Cruz - 164,790 votes

Take note, folks, I correctly predicted that Trump would finish first in South Carolina, Rubio would finish second & Cruz would finish third!!! Ted Cruz has seen his best days!!! Bottom Line: At the end of the day as my British friends like to quot so often....”Honesty Is The Best Policy”!!! You Cruz gals & guys, need a serious reality check!!! I told ya so!!!

If anything, I hope this disappointing performance by Cruz finally puts all talk of Iowa to bed. I'm so sick of hearing about how Cruz won Iowa, when in fact it was effectively a three-way tie between Cruz, Trump and Rubio.

Santorum and Huckabee are poster children for why Iowa simply doesn't matter. All that time, money and effort that gets put into that cranky, unpredictable state every four years. I just don't get it. When was the last time a caucus victory in Iowa ever mattered? Hell, even Ronald Reagan couldn't win there.

We just spent almost an entire year talking about Iowa and it's dozen or so delegates. Trump just won 50 delegates last night and hundreds of delegates will be at stake on March 1. Yet we are really only going to have about 10 days to campaign for them - after wasting an entire year yapping about Iowa and their finicky farmers and evangelicals.

Can we just take Iowa and put them to the back of the list. Let the Iowa Caucuses in 2020 happen in June.
