I guess some of the moderates who voted could be democrats. But Trump won the conservatives as well.
That’s true. Shocking to me, but true. He did not win all of them, and some will not support him no matter what.
Actually, Cruz won those who identify as very conservative. Trump got Somewhat conservative and moderate categories. On party id, Trump won those who said they were republicans as well as independents, but independents by a much larger margin.
