No. I keep saying that Trump continues to win a plurality in a divided field. This is increased by the crossovers,

You are still beating your wife?

You are making insinuations based on some figment of your imagination. Who else has as many voters showing up at massive rallies? Who else is talking about HOW to change things?

You Teddy Bares should all be getting on board the Trump Express. Follow the leader!

It is neither an insinuation nor a figment of my imagination that Trump is getting about a third of the vote in Republican primaries, including the crossovers) and that Rubio and Cruz combined beat him handily in South Carolina. Trump could conceivably win the nomination as a plurality candidate if the field remains divided, but if he wants to win in November, he needs a united GOP behind him. It is not helpful for The Donald and his merry band of Trumpsters to play dog at the fire hydrant every time a criticism is raised.

For all his talk of being a winner, Trump strikes me as profoundly insecure. He is a businessman who had some success building an inherited fortune (although he would have done better financially investing his inheritance in an index fund). I will concede that he knows more about real estate thank I do, and more about Chapter 11 than I hope ever to have to learn. But there is not a single public policy issue on which Trump is better informed than the average Rotary Club member. Some of the bluster is just his native personality, but I believe much of it is a defensive reaction when he is out of his depth. His instinct when he is shown up is to punch someone in the nose and change the subject. Again, this is not helpful.
