It's very interesting to watch how things are going, especially the people who claim to be so true blue Conservative that they'll stay home if their guy isn't the nominee. Now, I realize a significant percentage of such folks are going to be staying home anyway as they always do and are just looking for this election cycles excuse. Looked at objectively, though, that's the very group that should be most pleased with Trump running while Republicans have and may well retain control of both Houses of Congress.

Consider. Election after election, House, Senate, President, whatever, Conservatives are told, "that's the best we can do, take it or leave it. Just deal with it !". With Trump, the electorate has the opportunity to stick that same thing back in the face of the Republicrat thugs who are in reality only interested in ensuring that the pig trough stays full and no one rocks the boat.

If nothing else, with Trump the electorate gets to make damn sure the boat is rocked and rocked constantly. Shoving their own tactics back in their face is the best way to foster something other than the usual GOPe dolts running for offices other than President. It's a sizable crack in the damn and when the damn bursts, it'll lead to a sea change that wipes out politics as usual for a few decades.

JMHo, and eveyone has an opinion . . .

Excellent post ... Trump is the last best hope for the Republican party ... after this election , if Trump doesn’t get the nomination , the Republican party will be forever fractured and will very likely disintegrate ... there are too many of us off the GOPe plantation to ever go back ..

After Trump outing all of the GOPe hacks , it’s over for them ...not sure if they realize or care for that matter ..There is no way in good conscience that I could vote for Rubio or Kasich ... I think Cruz is severely compromised (Beck/Levin/Goldman Sachs) , but still might vote for him . Cruz would def lose the general though
