Given the trend, the RINOs will soon all drop out except one, which means Trump, Cruz and the consolidation RINO candidate will remain. The total RINO vote will then exceed what Cruz can pull in, putting Cruz third.

If Cruz drops out though, then his voters will mostly shift to Trump, putting Trump ahead of the consolidation RINO candidate. However, if Cruz stays in, the anti-establishment vote will be split between Trump and Cruz, and the RINO vote could easily exceed both Trump’s and Cruz’s at that point.

Thus, if Cruz persists in a three-way race, the consolidation RINO candidate could come out on top, and ultimately it won’t matter whether the RINO candidate or the Democrat candidate wins the national election as they’ll both be members of the Uniparty. If that happens, we can thank Cruz for that.

However, a lot still depends on how many delegates Trump can obtain in the early winner-take-all states: if he can get enough, then proportionate states might be able to power the consolidation RINO candidate over the top.

I really see no reason why Cruz voters should vote for Trump.

Trump has gone far out of bounds to personally attack Cruz.

He has called him a pussy.

He has said he is the worst liar— when Trump knows and socializes with the Clintons and a wide variety of Democrats.

I think Cruz voters know how they are viewed by the Trump campaign: unmitigated contempt.

That is a problem and I see no conciliatory gestures by Trump supporters.

I still think Cruz is the best alternative to Trump.

He is by far the most conservative candidate in the race.

Trump supporters like the fact that the GOPE is rallying and boosting Rubio to attack Cruz. They like the three pronged attack of Dems like Carter preferring Trump to Cruz, GOPE preferring to attack cruz via Rubio and Trumpsters treating Cruz like he is the most immoral candidate to ever run a campaign.

These open primaries are attracting wild independents and democrats that feel abandoned by the their party’s radical leftward lurch. These democrats know that trump will be “malleable” to quote Carter.
