'Britain will vote on whether to remain in the EU on Thursday 23 June, Prime Minister David Cameron has said.
The prime minister made his historic announcement in Downing Street after briefing the cabinet.
He said he would be campaigning to remain in a reformed EU - and described the vote as one of the biggest decisions "in our lifetimes".
Ministers immediately divided up into the leave and remain camps as the campaigns got under way in earnest.'

Honestly, I cant tell, imo support for leaving has grown greatly and thanks to issues like refugees is gathering pace, but you can never be sure.
All the pundits are flapping their gums, forgetting how spectacularly wrong they were with the GE last year.
Because they are dumbed down by the social events of what they see and hear! TV and Goosesteppers that promote the agenda!
Peter Hitchens wrote in his column that a NO vote on the referendum will be ignored anyway with the politicians-Cameron or his replacement if Cameron resigns just coming back to the voters until they get the ‘right answer’ from them on the EU.
If Scotland could not even get a Yes vote to become independent, what are the chances the UK votes Yes’ this time?
Let us hope for a NO vote, ie yes to UK leaving the EU.

Yes, very.
Not in Scotland. Farage made a tit of himself by attacking the Barnett Formula. He comes across as a bit of an English nationalist.
Not huge UKIP support up here, but it has risen.
