And yet the last sentence mentions “pre-existing conditions.” That was how I understood it when he said it, and that was what he was responding to in the rest of his statement.
Yeah, but you were listening to it all wrong. You’re supposed to look for a string of four words that you can splash into a headline and then call him Bernie Sanders. Or Hitler.
Get with the program, man!
The “pre existing conditions” part of today’s Healthcare Market is out of the Bag. It is not going anywhere.
Might as well look at it as an Entitlement that would only be Repealed over every Democrat Politicians Body. It will never be completely eliminated, just like Abortion and Gay Marriage.
There might be some limitations that can affect it (not that I can think of any right now), but it is here to stay.
All we can do is walk around it and do a little trimming, just like placing Restrictions on Abortion such as Viability. Of course if Obama gets another SCOTUS Justice you can forget that too.
Don’t kill the Messenger, it is what it is.
We’re back to the old adage, when you get Lemons you make Lemonade.
“pre-existing conditions” I should hope that the good Christians and others who are horrified at the thought of abortion would be equally horrified at the idea of letting treatable people die or starve because their insurance has expired or been lost. Hope, hope, hope??? Also, how do we deal with folks who jump the price of a lifesaving drug by 6000% just because they want to, not for economic necessity?
