Seems like there are many people better suited for president using the non politician success factor.
Better suited maybe and probably undeniable citizens but not running.
Actually on paper his open borders non-politician wife is better suited if that's what you want.
If he was #1 in all the categories you listed you'd find fault in that too.
Some people like sleazy lawyers, most people don't.
Anyone know what time the SC polls close on Saturday night?
LMAO!
It could be worse. At least Trump did not screw the entire country by voting to give Obama the power to lift Iran sanctions and allow Iran to develop nukes via the Corker bill. Cruz and Rubio did that.
John, I'm a Cruzer. Ted is the only candidate that I've donated my MONEY to and yet he hasn't broken 30% any where.
What kind of logic, not hope, but logic, says the guy that has constantly been in the lead can't get a majority to vote for him, while the guy that has been 20-35% behind, can be the winner, based on a hypothetical poll 8 months in the future.
“Trump has absolutely zero track record in the political arena,”
I don’t agree with that at all. He has dealt with politicians both here and abroad though his business ventures. So, how is Ted’s track record with other politicians?
As someone involved in real estate, I say your assumption that politics and real estate sales are not very similar is not valid.

That’s fine.
You have found a place where you can tout similarities. OK, and it’s valid - but I cannot go along with your language ‘to some significant degree’, as it would be difficult to find a more imprecise term.
Which jackass are we talking about?
Bad news for Ted Cruz: his eligibility for president is going to court

SamAdams,
Long time reader, had to register just to respond to this.
“Unless paper-pushing.... is held in high regard.”
Is EXACTLY why Conservatism and the GOP are always losing.
Have you seen Trump’s desk? It’s full of papers. You know how you get things actually done? You go through paper work. From to-do-lists to tedious contracts to legalistic documents.
Too many conservatives rhetorically disdain “paperwork” which is why the GOP is constantly behind the 8-ball v. the Dems.
The Dems stick to their to-do-lists and methodically get everything in the fine lines and win. They dot their ‘i’s’ and cross their ‘t’s’
Do you really think Trump wakes up each day and grabs a tool-belt and physically builds his buildings? NOPE.
It’s probably 80% research and paperwork which inform the 20% negotiations.
And again this false “paper-pushing isn’t real work” meme that too many conservatives and Republicans proudly proclaim, is WHY we don’t get jack.
So stop believing this. The devil and God are both in the details.
I do not.
Then what will they do in the general election? Vote FOR Trump?
Welcome aboard!
There are no absolutes, whether in politics or real estate or anything else in life.
I generally work in land, as home real estate is way too much emotional. Still I suspect that even in top end real estate, like Trump does, its still a lot of “I like that place or I don’t like that place”.
Politics is not very different.
