It he were cremated you would not have a casket, but an urn.

I can’t imagine what a loss this is to Clarence Thomas. It’s got to feel like his heart’s been ripped out.
Honestly, I think was a case of his campaign thinking he needed to stay on the campaign trail and commenting before they talked to him. Cruz knew Scalia personally and worked as a Clerk for one of his colleagues. I am pretty sure that Cruz would do pretty much anything to attend because this funeral will be very personal for him.

Cruz originally said he wouldn’t go but caught flack so he is forcing himself to go now. He will do anything to win. Plus he already wrote off South Carolina and is now focusing on Nevada.
The comment I addressed was the snarky, childish comment to Bob

It isn’t like you don’t repeat the same thing over and over. So why criticize Bob? Cruz name wasn’t mentioned.
Two of Scalia’s sons are high-powered Washington lawyers, one is a priest and one is an Army officers. A few other children are also fairly high-profile. These aren’t people to be trifled with. Neither are his legion of clerks and associates who are fiercely loyal. People making up stuff should tread very carefully.
I doubt it. Roman Catholics do not go for cremation. We believe in the hope of the resurrection. While the church no longer forbids cremation I doubt that as devout and conservative a Catholic as Justice Scalia would want it.
And to Justice Ginsberg. She and Justice Scalia were extremely close friends.
