Nevada delegates aren’t bound to the results of the caucus popular vote, making the Silver State a test of organizational strength rather than get-out-the-vote efforts.

Sounds pretty freaking Byzantine to me.

So the people vote, but the smoke-filled-back-rooms decide.

Great.

Delegates are elected in a series of public party meetings. They are not appointed by someone in Washington. That’s the hallmark of a republican form of government. It’s not a crude democracy.

Sounds like Iowa: So the people vote, but the smoke-filled-back-rooms decide. Great

Yes, it’s been that way since we went to caucus. Completely dishonest, bought and paid for. Remember voters went pretty much Ron Paul and the delegates went Romney.

Iowa redux.

Should be another odd one. I don't look forward to watching how one of the campaigns will try to steal this one.

They've already shown they aren't the squeaky clean and honest group they are running as. I hope they try to salvage their reputation, but doubt they will.
