Christians should try to build bridges with everyone but that doesn’t mean we should compromise national security.

Very well said.

And have Mexico pay for it. Make sure it’s a BIG, BEAUTIFUL bridge.

My advice to the Pontiff, he concluded, reach out and build a bridge to Donald Trump. Who knows where he may be this time next year!"

WooHoo Mr. Graham! God bless you!

The Vatican is now trying to tell everyone that the Pope specifically referring to Trump as “not a Christian,” is not meant to in any way influence the vote.

Right.

That’s just rubbish and poppycock...and everyone knows it.

The fact is, if the Pope is serious about “walls” not being Christian, he can start by tearing down the physical wall that surrounds the Vatican. At least then we would be able to judge the sincerity of his words by his actions.

But that still would not mean that the US should not take actions, like the border fence, to control illegal immigration into the country.

Doing that is not unchristian...it is the fulfilling of the responsibilities as an elected official to uphold and sustain the law.

Marxists are wrong about so much. I can’t recall a time before when a pope was wrong about so much.

Bravo. Excellent point. This pope needs a few lessons about changing hearts of the people and not just propping up socialist and communist (castro) regimes who talk the talk while they let people rot.

The misrepresentation that only a wall was going to be built, in isolation and without regard to any other factor, was a very wrong assumption to start with. In The Donald’s “beautiful wall”, there would also be a “beautiful gate” through which all the honest applicants for entry must then pass through, where they must present their credentials and satisfy the admissions officer of their good intent.

Why do they have ticket booths at football stadiums? Not just to collect revenue, but to winnow and control the influx.

Between John Paul and Benedict, these men did much to restore Roman Catholicism (whatever one might think of it) to a central grounding role in Western Civilization, an institution upon which one could rely for a morally centered guiding philosophy. People, and particularly young people, were turning back to the Church as something reliable and absolute in a sea of moral relativity.

With this idiot Francis, I have never seen a pope so rapidly diminish Catholicism in my life to just another ambitious political institution. What the hell was going in in the College of Cardinals?

Franklin Graham and his father have been about the only light in this country for these last years.

Franklin Graham is the best! Better than his father, I believe.

I’ve been praying that Trump and Graham (Franklin) would establish a relationship.

Notice the Grahams, true Christians, don’t have to have someone walk back every word they say.

Notice from the Vatican Office of Translation

Before "poor translation" is made the scapegoat of this latest statements by our Pope , we would like to post this important announcement to the faithful worldwide.

DO NOT BLAME US!!! We do not tell our Great Papa what to say. He says it and we try to figure out what it means in Italian, let alone all the languages of the world!

Frankly, whatever you think he said, or whatever you read that he said, or whatever is reported that he said... well, it's all wrong! He never said it!

We are not charged with perfection in translation. In fact, none of us speak a second language at all!

This may surprise many readers of this notice, so I will describe our role here at Vatican Central... or VeeCee, as we call it.

First, just months ago, we were all homeless on the Streets of Rome. The translation office is a jobs program for homeless Italians. Through the kindness of the Great leaders at VeeCee, 8 of us were recruited to a very fulfilling job with benefits. Many of us previously used Google Translate, so we had every qualification needed. Please note, our instructions are to get the message out fast. You may have noticed our Great Pope speaks "off the cuff" quite frequently, or as we say here in VeeCee, "between bites of pasta."

For this reason, we are not charged with accuracy, but with speed. Blinding speed. And between you and me, we are fast. We don't like to miss meals. Done is done. Good enough, is good enough.

With this in mind, please try to speak kindly of us so that we can continue in this important role.

Sincerely,
Luigi, Antonio, Giuseppe, Michael, Maria, Giovanna, Francesco, & Concetta courier font
