Again, you are using an ad hominem argument against Powell to say that people did NOT hear Meet the Press in 2007?
That’s not logical.
Powell said it, he had the eyewitness perspective from which to speak, and America (including Trump) did HEAR it.
You might not believe him, like him, respect him, or want your family to even associate with him, BUT that does not mean he did NOT say this.
The video PROVES he said it.
AND...it kills dead in its tracks the talking point that Trump made this up.
Yes, I am off the deep end, you are absolutely right. In the same way that I was off the deep end when Obama was reelected. I agree it looks like Trump is headed for a big win. Our party is once again going to nominate a liberal who gets beat in November.
If he was misled he let himself be misled. I truly believe that W wanted Saddam's head on a platter and was going to get it one way or another.
Colin Powell, carrying the water for the left, sad.

Your missing the point of what I was saying....’do you remember the night GWB announced to the people we were going to war? Do you remember how Powell looked? I do, and he didn’t look to me to be ‘lied’ to he looked angry and stunned....and YES I listened to the video...
If people would stop and read what other people are pointing out that could possibly be different than their point of view all the time, then maybe we could talk about the WHOLE subject not just ‘your viewpoint’!

Enough - once and for all - with this persistent belief that the Iraqi WMD somehow were smuggled out of Iraq.

No, Syria Doesnât Have Saddamâs Chemical Weapon
And let’s be honest - Powell is disliked here because he went against W and Bush fans hate that. He is hated and unpopular only amongst them. To the vast majority of the entire American population Powell is seen as a credible figure and a highly respected person.

Powell’s demeanor of anger takes a far back seat to what he actually said.
And what he actually said VERIFIES that Trump DID HEAR that the Bush administration LIED.
TRUMP didn’t make it up.
Powell has shot off his mouth all OVER the place. SO WHAT? He is a liar! Since when does anything a lying liberal says become gospel truth?
He. Endorsed. Obama. Twice.
Is there something about that you don’t understand?
Repeat yourself much? We get your irrelevant point. Do you have a relevant one?
Maybe, ive read he was incensed that his dad was supposedly targeted. who knows.
Even if you think Powell is a liar does not mean that TRUMP made up the notion that Bush lied.
It came from the mouth of Bush’s OWN Secretary of State.
Me neither. Hindsight is 20/20 defense.
The head CIA guy in the Bush Admin said the same thing.
I view a “they lied” as a collective “they”, and whether it was on purpose or not, “they” got it wrong. We were sold a tale of epic mushroom clouds and mass destruction if we didn’t go in, and it turned out to be wrong.
I really wish we’d move past this issue, because about half (or maybe more) of Republicans and virtually the entire GOPe/RNC establishment continue to dig their heels in defending the Bush Doctrine of intervention, and in my opinion, it’s a proven failure and also toxic to Republicans in the general election.
Maybe you should make a post crying about it.
Here’s the relevance:
People voting throughout the primary season have been told that Trump made it up that the Bush administration lied about WMDs.
The truth is that he heard it on Meet the Press from Bush’s own Secretary of State.
That means they can confidently go to vote knowing that Trump has AGAIN been shown to be solid and fact based.
