Nice stream-of-consciousness ramble.

I had the same reaction to tonight's town hall. Kasich and Jebbie bored me to tears. All their hackneyed cliches and their lame attempts to come across as "warm and fuzzy" and "sensitive and caring."

I even had to put the whole thing on mute and play a Beethoven symphony so I could get some manliness back.

Then Donald Trump strode onto the stage and from that moment on I was transfixed. He just owned the audience and projected such confidence in his ability to restore America as president. He spoke about hiring competent people to run the country instead of appointing political hacks. He spoke in depth about why it was such a mistake to go into Iraq. How Obamacare is a disaster and needs to be repealed. How we need to have a border and how we need to negotiate better terms with our trading partners. Then he humbled himself at the end by admitting he was a better father than husband and his biggest regret was two failed marriages.

This is the leader that this country needs. Not some wishy-washy, handwringing milquetoast like Jebbie Bush or John Kasich. Not some overly-ambitious do-anything-to-win lawyer-politician like Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz.

No other candidate in this race is as genuine and honest as Donald Trump.
