Trump is ALL about winning. After he secures the republican nomination, he will of course move to the center. By choosing Hillary as his running mate, he takes much of that left-center base from Bernie. It would shock the democrat party. It would help Trump seem more mainstream. It will help him smooth over women voters. Especially older women, lesbians, old women's lib types, pro-choice types, etc. Just think about it. Seriously. And Hillary might take that offer after she loses the nomination. She would only be one heartbeat away from what she has angled for all her life, but couldn't win in an election.
And Trump has always said he thinks she did a great job as Senator, and as Secretary Of State. He even thought Bill did a great job as President. He has always supported them as well as financially. He likes them. It would totally shake up the race, and allow him to claim a larger mandate, and siphon voters from the center, and liberals who are afraid of Sanders brand of socialism. Trump thinks outside of the box. THIS is outside of the box
And Trump's positions before actually running for the Republican nomination have greatly been in agreement with Hillary's. You have to honestly admit that.
And the big kicker - Yes , he would lose some conservative voters. But they sure as hell aren't going to vote for Sanders! they will just sit home or hold their nose and vote for him. And he sure as hell won't lose any of his true blue supporters. No way in hell. His supporters will accept anything. They just are invested in him winning, and what they perceive as what he stands for. They really don't know for sure. they just think he talks a great kick-ass game now, and upset with the shape of government now. He himself has said even if he shoots someone in public, few of his supporters would flee him. And I believe that after reading this site for several months. Hillary would make them crinkle their noses, but all he would have to do is say - This Will Make Us Win !!! And they would go for it.
And he become President Trump. Any of his true blue supports would accept that.
