Mr Kaminski gave details of what he claimed was inside a file on Mr Walesa, covering the period 1970-6:
"Inside the personal file there is an envelope and inside, a hand written commitment to cooperate with the secret police signed 'Lech Walesa - Bolek'," he said.
Mr Kaminski said that among the documents in this folder were some "hand-written confirmations of receiving funds", signed with the pseudonym 'Bolek'.
"In the work folder... are many reports by a secret informant with the pseudonym 'Bolek' and notes by secret police officers from meetings with the secret informant," the director added.

BS!
That evidence was “planted” by Commie agents to try to discredit Walesa in the eyes of his supporters.
Talk about a case of “buyer beware”. They should be asking for their money back.
How did that work out for the communists?
If he was a paid Communist informant, I don’t think the Communist government got much value for their money.
What’s left of the Polish Communist Party might want to ask for a refund due to non-performance.
Or something he had to sign, or else. Clearly he didn’t deliver, and Poland’s resistance under Walesa was essential in breaking up the Warsaw Pact and ultimately the Soviet Union.
Certainly a hit piece. Why now?
Obviously a Goldman Sachs owned GOPe plant!!
Eh. Its most likely not true but even if it is, he did a Hell of a lot more damage to Communism than he helped it.
.
He was openly, actively and successfully able to destroy communism in Poland and eastern Europe. We have the video. We have the outcome. If he was working for the communists, he was the worst possible communist that ever lived.
Bkmrk.
lol...that was brilliant.
I was having sort of a “similar” thought and was hoping to say something clever....but you totally beat me to it!!
Although I’ve been disappointed recently in Walesa, for asking that Poland take in more Muslim refugees.
This is nothing new, these rumors have been around for years.
“Certainly a hit piece. Why now?”
Because the documents were just now discovered?
Total donkey poo.
Agreed. Walesa worked for the communists like Lenin worked for the German Empire by going to Finland Station. What is that phrase again? Hoist on one’s own petard.
“Because the documents were just now discovered?”
Very unlikely. The people who keep such archives do so for a reason, and know what is in their inventory.
There is some reason to this being brought out at this time. It serves someone’s agenda.
Which suggested he might not have been clean. Other folks ended up neutralized or even dead. Lech seemed to be able to avoid that outcome.
