ABOARD THE PAPAL AIRLINER -- Inserting himself into the Republican presidential race, Pope Francis on Wednesday suggested that Donald J. Trump "is not Christian" because of the harshness of his campaign promises to deport more immigrants and force Mexico to pay for a wall along the border.
"A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian," Francis said when a reporter asked him about Mr. Trump on the papal airliner as he returned to Rome after his six-day visit to Mexico.

A coerced abdication is no abdication at all, if that is true then Pope Benedict XVI is still the pope right now.
I’m not a Trump man but I’m a bit annoyed at the Pope right now. If the Pope continues, I could see Trump just “go there” and openly attack the pope’s refusal to deal with the Homosexuals and the pedophiles in the church...telling him to get his own house in order before he tells other nations what to do!
Friggin anti-pope.
How many refugees/illegals are now living in the Vatican?
Ask them how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. They actually have an answer ready for that one.
This pope loves Islam and communism. Much like our President.
Islam, communism, and homosexuality: the holy trinity of the Left.
Francis would not judge a sodomite, but he will judge a person who believes that a nation should have a defined border.
Trump is basically a “cultural Christian” without apparently knowing gospel from goose feathers, but still. He who is not against us is for us, in his situation. I’m not sure he is all that worse than this pope.
Matthew 12:50
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
To remain silent on this would show either cowardice or stupidity. Francis is feeding the forces that want to take over this country, so let him at least hear the rebuttal, and that goes for all the ignorami he might have influenced with his butting-in.
then he needs to step up and put an end to this
So which is worse? A guy who is ignorant of the Bible, or one who has devoted his entire life to it’s study, yet goes around deliberately misquoting it?
Same here. Pretty sad to see a Pope being ideologically political. Speaking out against human right abuse is one thing, calling Trump non-Christian because he wants to protect our border is a bit much coming from a guy that lives behind a wall himself.
This Pope seems to be out of his element, true or not. He espouses to not being political, but indeed, by his own words...he is. His place is in Italy, in Rome, in his cloistered palace. God is part of America’s heritage, as is well noted in our Constitution. The Founding Fathers were well aware of the importance of God in everything that made their lives work. We, today in the world we live, like Mr. Trump, understand the same. Go home, your Reverence, Sir. Go home.

Excellent points.
The Catholic churches are being given our tax money to resettle these people. Many of them are hurting for funds, and deservedly so, but our government has found a way to corrupt and use them for its own purposes. Many Catholics go innocently to Mass and hear propaganda from the New World Order. Shameful!
As a Baptist the real question: Can angels dance?
Only after they’ve had a few drinks.
maybe the pope is not a Christian......only god knows what’s in the hart of man and no mater what the pope is just a man with the same foibles as the rest of us.....
