But the Gospel calls the days immediately before Christ’s coming the “days of vengeance” (or “punishment”), so imagine how bad things have to get still.
ratsah is murder of another human, not kill which is harag as in killing an animal for food or in self-defense.
Life is from God is the central tenet of Judaism. That supersedes everything, as murder is the only sin you cannot repent for.
That’s the Judeo- in the Judeo-Christian values. We don’t murder people for being homosexual like in Iran. Homosexuality is a sin against God, and only God can accept repentance if one commits that action. We want homosexuals to study Torah so they can read for themselves and bring them out of the darkness through repenting to God for their actions.
Since Jesus was a Jew who studied Torah, he wouldn’t kill gays either.
