"idiot, jerk" LOL!!! You used English sources. I researched Jewish and Hebrew which refers to him as "the mighty one" and the first monarch. But there is more: "Nimrod's deviousness is what amalgamated the various factions. Nimrod was a demagogue, using his words to bring them to battle, to help him fight a war that he could not win.

The very name Nimrod has the word "rebel" as its root. It was his sinister misanthropic character that brought these people together on an impossible mission."

Been called worse!! I was just mentioning where I saw the name.
.....................
When looking up a full definition of a word, went to Mirriam-Webster and that was the “Word of the day”

gave it an unusual definition.

“a hunter or an idiot or jerk”

Whatever, who cares, so what!!!!!!
.............................

I understand........somewhat familiar with the story. Wasn’t that little episode, Tower of Bable, where something happened to their language.

Some spoke Yankee........some spoke Texan and the like? LOL!!!

Take care.........pilgrim
